Michelangelo Painting

This is quite an incredible find. One family stumbled upon a famous Norman Rockwell painting in their deceased father’s house in Vermont. He had kept it behind a fake wall and displayed a fake one so that the real painting wouldn’t end up with his wife after their divorce. He never told anyone about it, even on his deathbed and the real painting sold for $15.4 million in an auction. Another similar story took place in New York, where a man remembered there was a $300 million Michaelangelo painting right behind his couch. He had forgotten that it’s been there for 27 years.

The siblings searched the names that were in the letters and tracked down the grandchildren of the couple in order to return the letters.
